Replacement windows 

 Sometimes sash and case windows need full replacement,

years of weathering, lack of maintenance and even bodged repairs

can take their toll.

In our workshop we can reproduce windows to the exact specifications  of your existing windows with the addition of the modern advances such as draught proofing, double glazing etc.

All our windows are installed traditionally using timber blocks and folding wedges to the head of the case, the case is set on slate packing with damp proof membrane below. We now however use a modern expanding foam to seal round the window, gone are the days of using the rolled up daily newspaper!!

The expanding foam also provides a damp proof layer to the face of the window and reduces draughts, noise as well as a good base for the linseed sand mastic pointing.

All our windows and double glazed units come with a 5 year guarantee.
