Supply of goods and services

Veritas Sash & Case accept no responsibility for loss or damage which you or any third party may sustain relating to goods manufactured to our design but used in any way for which the goods were not designed.

All goods remain the property of Veritas Sash & Case until paid for in full. Veritas Sash and Case reserves the right to remove any installed goods from the area of works until paid for is in full.

We may withdraw our quotation, and withhold delivery of any goods if your account is outstanding to an extent which we regard as unreasonable or for any other reason which gives us doubts about your ability or intention to pay.

When you engage Veritas Sash & Case to supply materials, goods or services it is your responsibility to provide accurate information. Veritas Sash & Case will not be held liable for inaccurate information supplied to us and will seek compensation for all costs incurred.

The Works 

Veritas Sash & Case will endeavour to protect clients property during works, including floor protection and dust covers. 

We will take reasonable steps to remove any debris during works, and the site will be fully cleared on completion. We will also do our best to clean up after work but accept no liability for any additional cleaning requirements.

We will not accept liability for cabling that passes through windows. Clients should prepare in advance for the re-fitting of these items, and the subsequent disruption this may cause.

 

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure our fitters have free access to areas of work. Any furniture, ornamentation or blinds will need to be removed in advance. If you are unable to do so, our fitters will take reasonable steps to do this on your behalf, but we will not be held liable for any damages incurred during the process.

 

Terms of payment

Please note that any upfront payment in advance of works is required to cover the cost of manufacturing. 

Manufactured items, are bespoke for your property only and cannot be repurposed for use elsewhere.

Payments are in 2 stages as follows:

Payment (1)

For manufacturing, payment of 50% of the quote price is due once the works are confirmed.

For refurbishments, the first payment of 40% of joinery works is due once confirmed.

For Supply Only manufacturing we require 100% payment upfront.

After Payment 1, works will be scheduled in. If required, our surveyor will then visit your property to take detailed measurements ahead of manufacture.

Payment (2)

This balance payment is for joinery/fitting, labour and sundries etc and is due on the day joinery works are completed.

We accept Debit cards, BACS payments, Details will be on your invoice.


Please Note: Any guarantee or warranty will not be provided until invoices are paid in full. This does not affect any other legal rights you may have in relation to the contract.
